Oticon Reveal is a rechargeable dual-AI hearing aid built to keep speech clear while preserving the natural sounds of the world around you.
The Oticon Reveal is available at Applied Hearing Solutions, both at our main clinic in Phoenix and at our Scottsdale office. Reveal is Oticon's next-generation rechargeable receiver-in-canal hearing aid, and it is built around an idea that has guided Oticon for years: hearing well is not just about making speech louder. It is about staying connected to your whole environment while conversations remain clear and easy to follow.
If you have ever worn a hearing aid that made a restaurant quieter but also made it feel like you were listening through a closed window, you already understand the problem Reveal is designed to solve.
Most hearing aids handle noise with a single processing strategy: identify the speech, suppress everything else. Reveal introduces a new dual-AI system that splits the job in two. Speech AI focuses on analyzing and enhancing the voices you want to hear. Context AI works alongside it to preserve the meaningful sounds in your environment, like a colleague approaching your desk or traffic as you cross a street.
The two systems analyze your sound environment every two milliseconds and blend their results inside the Reveal AI Clarifier, the processing stage of the hearing aid. The goal is what Oticon calls your "balance point," an individualized mix of speech clarity and environmental awareness that your audiologist can tune to your preferences. This is Oticon's third generation of AI-based sound processing, following the Oticon More and Oticon Intent platforms.
Reveal also carries forward Oticon's 4D sensor technology. In plain terms, the hearing aid reads your movement and listening behavior first, then decides how sound should be processed, so sitting in a quiet office and walking through a busy market are treated as the different situations they are.
Whistling, known clinically as feedback, has long limited how much amplification a hearing aid can comfortably deliver, especially with open or vented fittings that leave the ear canal less plugged. Reveal includes the Reveal Optimizer, Oticon's updated feedback-prevention system, designed to stop feedback before it becomes audible. For many patients, that added stability means their audiologist can deliver more of their actual prescription without sacrificing the open, natural fit they prefer.
Reveal is built on a new connectivity platform with an updated radio transmitter. It offers Made for iPhone compatibility, optimized Android connectivity, Bluetooth Low Energy Audio, Google Fast Pair, and Auracast broadcast audio for compatible public venues such as theaters and lecture halls.
A new Streaming Comfort feature automatically turns down surrounding environmental sound while you stream a call, podcast, or playlist, and the amount of reduction is adjustable in the app or by your audiologist. Reveal charges on Oticon's premium hardware, with both a desktop charger and a portable travel charger, and comes in several standard colors including a new Deep Plum. For patients with hearing in only one ear, a new Oticon CROS transmitter launches with the Reveal platform and shares the same chargers as the hearing aid.
A hearing aid this adaptive is only as good as its programming. At Applied Hearing Solutions, every fitting follows comprehensive audiology Best Practices, including Real Ear Measurements. This verification step uses a small probe microphone in your ear canal to confirm the hearing aid is delivering your exact prescription at the eardrum, rather than trusting the manufacturer's software estimate. It is one of the most reliable predictors of hearing aid success, and it is standard at every fitting we perform.
Reveal tends to suit patients who want natural sound quality, awareness of their surroundings, dependable feedback control, and strong wireless streaming. If your priority is the heaviest possible suppression of background noise, a different processing approach may serve you better, and we will tell you honestly if that is the case.
